Marilyn Cruz Davis, born to Carmen Gloria Roman Carrasquillo and Luis Enriquez Cruz Sr. on April 9, 1961 in San Juan Puerto Rico where she lived for two years. She then came to Salinas, California with her parents and siblings. Attending Salinas public schools, she worked various jobs while beginning a family of her own at the age of nineteen. Marilyn worked at Natividad Medical Center for over thirteen years where she medically retired as a housekeeping supervisor. Marilyn was happily married to her husband Wayne Davis for twenty-two years. They would spend their free time on motorcycle rides enjoying the winding roads, coasts, and mountains of California. Whether they were on their way to the casino to "WIN BIG", or on their way to an annual Rib Cook-Off in Reno, they always shared the joys of the open road together. There was always some type of excitement with Marilyn around. She truly enjoyed family, laughter, and the fun chaos that comes with a Puerto Rican family get together. Her tears were out of pure happiness and joy as she relished in the presence of her family and friends. She lived a life of Faith, knowing Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Marilyn is now worshiping, dancing, and singing praises with the angels at the top of her lungs.

Left to cherish her memories are her grandchildren Pete Meza Jr., Jodecy Vasquez, Elena Rose Meza, Destiney Vasquez, Luis Vasquez, Marilyn Vasquez, Zaiden Enriquez, Andrew Arellano, Kaya Sky Meza, Jacob Arellano, and Kingston Enriquez; son-in-law's Pete S. Meza, Ray Arellano, Felipe Enriquez, and Henry Dean; and niece Marybel Parker. Marilyn leaves behind a host of other family and friends.
