Obituary of Bertha Bernice Cordova

Salinas-Born September 16, 1939 Bertha was a hard working mom always someone who you could depend on.  She cared for her parents Mariano Cruz and Cirila Cruz until God took them to Heaven. During her lifetime she worked as a bookkeeper for Santa Cruz University and then went on to work for Carmel Valley Packing.  Surrounded by her family on November 29, 2020 she left us to join her husband Carlos C. Cordova.  She is survived by her daughters, Ruby Marie Gardea, and Mariam Ramos; her grandchildren, Lisa Gardea, Oscar Gardea Jr., Jennifer Gardea Segura, Marian Sullivan, Manuel Mendez, Desiree Diaz, Lizette Ayala; her great grandchildren, Ruby Rome, Roman Cruz, Reya Reign Segura, Kavela and Kaleo Alfoa, Diego, Dominic and David Sullivan, Manuel Jr, Desman Mendez, Brianna Alvarado, Milo, Udie, and Yliana Diaz.  Viewing will be at Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn St., on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 10-11am then to Garden of Memories for burial, 850 Abbott St. in Salinas.
