Josefino Monte Centeno passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 73. He was born in the Philippines on January 22, 1947 to Jose and Petra Centeno. He was raised in Villasis, Pangasinan, but he also lived in Manila before relocating to Salinas, Ca.
Josefino was an electrician in the Philippines, but worked as a machine operator and later as a caregiver here in the U.S. He loved to sing and play Mah-Jong.
Josefino was preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo Centeno (brother), Avelino Centeno (brother), Arturo Centeno (brother), Noli Centeno (son), Gerald Centeno (son) and Rudy Leo Penamante (son-in-law). He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nora Centeno, Jhoel Centeno (son), Irma Penamante (daughter), Joseph Centeno (son), Jennifer Centeno Adajar (daughter), Jayson Centeno (son), Jerome Centeno (son), Johannie Lian Centeno (daughter), Joshua-Ayn Centeno (daughter), Jericho Centeno (son), Jeffrey Centeno (son), Floresita Centeno (sister), Eloisa C. De Guzman (sister), Danilo M. Centeno (brother), 15 grandchildren, and a lot of nieces and nephews
