Obituary of Karla Baltazar Shaw

Karla Baltazar Shaw passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on March 18, 2021 at 49 years old. While her battle with cancer lasted 2 years, cancer did not win – grace and peace prevailed.

 

Karla’s number one priority was to take care of her family. She was a selfless homemaker who set an example of strength, love, and giving.

 

She is survived by her husband, David; her children, Celina and Jeremy; her parents, Carlos and Paula Baltazar; and her siblings, Neil, Kathleen, and Paul.

 

Karla loved to bake sweet treats, cook delicious meals, find new recipes, watch talk shows, relax with her dog, Chewy, take summer trips, play penny slot machines, and find goodies at “T” stores.

 

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 1-5PM at Healey Mortuary.

 

Funeral Mass will be held at 11AM on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Madonna Del Sasso Catholic Church at 320 E Laurel Dr., Salinas, CA 93906.

 

Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 18200 Damian Way, Prunedale, CA 93907.
