Obituary of Yolanda C. Martinez

Yolanda C. Martinez passed away on April 4, 2022 at the age of 66.  Yolanda was born on November 8, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas. 

Yolanda opened her own business “Yolanda’s Tax Service” in 2010, but had been a tax preparer since 1986.  She was a very strong woman who never gave up on anything.  Even with her disability she managed to work and to take care of her parents until their passing. 

Yolanda was a Jehovah’s Witness and she enjoyed attending Meetings at the Kingdom Hall, going to conventions, and reading the Bible.  She also loved road trips with her husband, Jose, and playing Fear Factor with her grandchildren; one time Fabian even ate a can of cat food with a jalapeno.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Manuela Castaneda and brother, Ernest Castaneda.  Yolanda is survived by her husband, Jose C. Martinez; her children, Laura (Steve) Calderon and Carlos Rodezno Jr. (Monica); her grandchildren, Briana (Alfredo) Villagomez, Cristal Moreno (Milo Ibarra), Ruben Moreno (Sheena Malolot), Luis Moreno Jr. (Cynthia Rodriguez), Fabian Moreno (Sairi Guerrero), Adrian Moreno, Karina Rodezno, Carlos Rodezno III, and Samantha Rodezno; her greatgrandchildren, Mattias Villagomez, Catalina Villagomez, Alexa M. Ibarra, Xavier Ibarra, Jack D. Ibarra, Alexah Malolot, Louie M. Moreno III, Ruben Moreno Jr., Ethan Moreno, Aliyah Moreno, Natalia Moreno, Aiden Moreno, and Isabella Moreno; as well as her siblings, Steve, Mary Alice, Corina, and Roberto Jr.

Services will take place on Monday, April 11^th at Healey Mortuary Chapel beginning with a visitation from 9-12pm with the Funeral at 12pm.  Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Prunedale.
