Obituary of J. Cruz Gonzalez

J. Cruz Padilla Gonzalez, 77, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on February 17, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 3, 1936 in Mexico. He previously worked in agriculture as a farm worker for over 20 years. Cruz was a member of AA for over ten years. Cruz is survived by his wife, Abelina Padilla daughters, Alberta, Maria de la Luz, Maria Angel, Avelina, Sanjuana, Veronica, Maria Guadalupe sons, Rafael, Fidel, Ricardo, Jose Francisco, Feliciano and Jose de Jesus 8 brothers and 5 sisters, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 1-9pm Rosary at 7pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 10am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church 240 Calle Cebu Salinas, CA 93901. Burial to follow services at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Salinas, CA 93907.
