Obituary of Luz Rodriguez

Luz Guzman Rodriguez, 83, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on March 15, 2014 at his home in Salinas. He was born on November 2, 1930 in Rancho Nuevo, Guanajuato, Mexico. Luz previously worked in agriculture as a field worker for over 45 years. Luz is survived by his daughters, Rosa (Ramiro) Flores Elvira (Rigoberto) Perez Lucia (Luis) Estrada and Maria (Maulesh) Patel sons, Jose (Maria) Rodriguez, Tobias (Laura) Rodriguez Rafael (Gina) Rodriguez and Manuel Rodriguez 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren also surviving are numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Luz is preceded in death by his loving wife, Celia L. Rodriguez. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2014 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 7pm all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 24, 2014 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 22 Stone St. Salinas, CA 93901. Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.
