Obituary of Joe Perez

Joe Perez, 89, lifelong resident of Monterey county, passed away on October 21, 2014 in Salinas. He was born on July 12, 1925 in Venice, CA. Joe previously worked as a tractor driver in agriculture for over 30 years. He lived most of his life at Rancho Rincon in Gonzales until just a few years ago when he went under the care of his brother-in-law, Ben. He was a very generous man & will always be remembered for the ice cream money he would hand out to all the children in the family. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Benjamin Jaime of Gonzales along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Tranquilino and Emilio Perez; sisters, Dolores Medina, Mary Vazquez and Margarita Jaime. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 5-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 7pm all at St. Theodore's Catholic Church 125 Center St. in Gonzales, CA 93926. Cremation to follow services.
