Obituary of Ralph Stevens

Life Legacy On July 9, 2015, Ralph Morgan Stevens passed away at the age of 83 in his home at Marina, CA. Ralphwas a 21 year veteran of the U.S. Army, retiring honorably in 1970. During his tenure in the Army; he served two tours in Korea during the Korean Conflict, earning a Bronze Star. He also served in Vietnam. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for a period of 16 years at the Marina Landfill until he retired there. After that, he worked 10 years at the 1000 Trails Camp at Soledad Canyon. He was a 25 member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows (IOOF) attaining the office of Grand Patriach. He was also a member in good standing of the Veteran of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.) Post #811 in Marina, CA and also a member of the Harbor Chapel Church in Moss Landing, CA. Ralph's true passion was the outdoors. He and his family spent many vacations traveling across the United States camping and hiking. Ralph is survived by, his wife of 60 years, Betty children, Sandra Simms, Debra Stucky, Phillip, Raymond and Ralph Stevens 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren with two more on the way! A Memorial Service with full Military Honors will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2015 August 8, 2015 at 1pm at the Harbor Chapel 620 Dolan Road in Moss Landing, CA 95039.
