Obituary of Jose Quichocho

Life Legacy Jose Camacho Quichocho, 82, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on June 28, 2016 in Salinas. He was born on August 29, 1933 in Yona, Guam. Jose proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired from duty as a staff sergeant. He went on to work in retail in vacuum sales and services for over 35 years. A very special "thank you" to Dr. Khodevrian, Dr. Ganzhorn, Dr. Cole, Dr. "Bob" Wlodarczyk, Dr. Harry and all nursing staff at SVMH who cared for him. Jose is survived by, his wife, Christel Quichocho daughters, Dolores Quinones, Beatrice Palafox and Maria (Carl) Fatland son, Manuel J. Quichocho sisters, Sister Mary Joseph Quichocho, SSND, Sister Clare Marie Quichocho, SSND and Anna Cruz brother, Pedro Quichocho 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 7pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 10am at Madonna del Sasso Church 320 E. Laurel Dr. Salinas, CA 93906. Burial with full Military Honors will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901. A gathering of family and friends will follow services at the family home.
