Obituary of Richard McCoun

Life Legacy Richard "Dick"McCoun, 84, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on June 15, 2017 in Monterey. He was born on November 12, 1932 in Merced, CA. Dick had proudly served in the U. S. Army and then went on as business owner of Dick's Arco and Dick's Towing and Auto Repair of Prunedale for several decades. He was a member of the Madonna del Sasso parish, Charter Member of the Lions Club in Prunedale and of the American Legion Post #593 in Prunedale. Dick is survived by his sons, Doug McCoun (Michelle), Bob McCoun (Julia), Tom McCoun and Jeff McCoun (Carrie), sister, Dolores, Keswick, brother, Jim McCoun (Marilyn), grandchildren, Brett and Brian Moniz, Ashley Jones, Mia Perry McCoun and Julianne McCoun, greatgrandchildren, Jayden, Jake, Alyssa and Logan also survive. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie McCoun, granddaughter, Becky McCoun and his sister, Maurie Klimcheck. Visitation will be held on June 21, 2017 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 7pm all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2017 10:00am at Madonna del Sasso Catholic Church 320 E. Laurel Dr. Salinas, CA 93906. Burial to follow services at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Salinas, CA 93907.
