Obituary of Francisca Segura

Francisca Gamez Segura, born March 9, 1931 in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico, passed away November 20, 2007. Homemaker, beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She had previoulsy worked for Oshita Farms, Sun Harvest Farms and Merrill Farms in Salinas. Francisca enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as cooking, shopping, and going to Las Vegas to play the slot machines, traveling with her husband. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Refugio and all of her children. We will always hold the memories of tamales and bunuelos at Christmas. The smell of tortillas cooking on the stove and the best frijoles. We will always love you and miss you, Mami. Thank you for being our Mom - Abuelita. Words cannot express the pain in our hearts and the sadness that we feel. But, we know that you are our "Guardian Angel" looking after us from Heaven. Rest in peace; until we meet again. preceeded in death by parents Antonia Rocha & Cristino Gamez of Allende, Coahuila, Mexico stepmother Bruna Alfaro Gamez of Allende, Coahuila, Mexico survived by daughters Dora (Juan) Moncada of Salinas Mary (Miguel) Yanez of Salinas Guadalupe (Guillermo) Rodriguez of Bridgeport, Texas Juanita Perez of Salinas Marta (Miguel) Garcia of Salinas Cruz Segura of Las Vegas, Nevada sons Refugio (Debbie) Segura, Jr. of Salinas Eulalio Segura of Salinas Jaime (Elvia) Segura of Salinas sisters Oralia, Esperanza, Chela, Chita Gamez, all of Texas Maria Gamez of South Carolina Fidencia Gonzalez Gamez of Allende, Coahuila, Mexico brothers Guillermo, Gilberto, Cristino, Juan, Alejandro Gamez and Antonio Rocha, all of Allende Coahuila, Mexico Jose Gamez of San Antonio, Texas she is also survived by her 28 grandchildren Juan Pablo, Hector, Isabel, Cruz, Melissa, Anthony, Cristina, Joseph, Matthew, Alex, Adrian, Cristian, Maribel, Choco, Cristal, Edward, Monica, Abel, Luis, Susana, Veronica, Bertha, Jorge, Daniel, Valarie, JJ, Adrianna & Gabby 18 great-grandchildren from Salinas, Las Vegas and Arizona along with numerous nieces and nephews and other loving relatives
