Obituary of Maria Farias

Maria M. Farias Born November 30, 1939 to Maria Paz and Pascual Moreno in Coalcoman, Michocan, Mexico. She married Antonio Farias January 9, 1960 and moved to Chualar in the late 1960's and settled in Salinas. Maria was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. Her loving family will never forget all the weekend family gatherings where she made home-made corn tortillas, migitas and tacos con queso; she was never satisfied until everybody was fed. Maria's home was known by everybody as Mom's and Abuelita's house where we called her kitchen table "El Chisme Caliente", always full of laughter, jokes, and of course, fights, but always had the safest and most filling place to be at. Maria was hardly ever called by her name, everybody had their own individual loving name for her. Some of the most remembered will be Mami, Madrecita, La Reina, Mariquita, Dona Maria, and of course, Abuelita. La Reina left our family with nothing but great loving memories and we will always have a special place in our hearts and we let it be known until the last seconds of her life; she was surrounded by all her loving family, making sure she left with dignity and full of love. La Reina was the heart of the family and will always be. Our relationship with her will be different now, but she will always be the one to keep our family together. We all know that from the glory of heaven she's watching over us and making sure we all have a place next to her and God. She is survived by husband Antonio Farias of the family home daughers Elvia and Yesenia Farias sons Javier, Rigoberto and Hector Farias daughters-in-law Dora and Ofelia Portela, Maria Farias Sanchez, Maria Hipolito son-in-law Israel Chavez grandchildren Leslie, Roberto, Verenice, Jocelyn, Tania, Felix, Kenia, Rigoberto Jr., Hector Jr., Evangeina, Monica and Josiah to be born in December greatgrandchildren Ramiro Jr., Christian, Jade Elizabeth, Angel, and one on the way brothers Ramon, Jesus, Pascual and Jose sisters Margarita, Elvira, Carolina and Eva preceded in death parents Pascual and Maria Moreno sister Amelia
