Obituary of Philip Dorado

Philip Michael Dorado, 21, of Castroville passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008. He was born October 18, 1986, in Salinas, California. He was a US Marine Corporal for four years, stationed at Camp Lujuene, North Carolina. He served FOUR tours in IRAQ. He returned to California in June. He was recently hired at Macy’s in Monterey in the Loss Prevention Department. He was a devoted Husband, Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, and Uncle. Those who knew him knew that he loved to joke around and made you laugh even when you didn’t want to. He loved to work on his car and had dedicated a lot of time to it. He also loved to listen to music. He also loved to quote movies and was really good at it. He was the baby of 4, yet was the one that seemed to always be the one to help his family. He married his High School sweetheart after his second tour of Iraq, Eva Belinda Arreguin Dorado in 2006. They had plans to move to Texas in the near future so that he could pursue a career with the Border Patrol and to start a family. His Wife and Family are truly going to miss him and will never forget him, for he will always live on, in our hearts. “We love you Pookie (Yayee)”. We just want to let you know that we are extremely proud of your years of service for our country; you were our reason to laugh and smile. Brother, there are 4 of us that make 1 and you were the final link to our Quad. Without you there is no us. We will never forget you and you will never be replaced. He is preceded in death by his Father, Fernando R. Dorado in 2006.
