Obituary of Maria Lomas

Maria Erlinda Lomas, 91, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on July 30, 2011 in Salinas. She was born on September 12, 1919 in Crystal City, Texas. Maria loved attending family gatherings in her spare time, she liked to crochet and tend to her garden. She was very outgoing and a friendly person. She always had a smile on her face. Maria was loved by many and will be missed by all. Maria is survived by her daughters; Rosie Martinez of Salinas and Joyce (Paul) Trujillo of San Jose; son, Paul (Ramona) Martinez of Salinas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She is preceded in death by her sons, Abel and Art Lomas, Chris Martinez; along with several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 with an Evening Prayer Service at 7pm all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Procession will take place on Wednesday, August 10 at 10am commencing at Healey Mortuary. Burial at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.
