Obituary of Herman Bessinger
Herman J. Bessinger went home to be with the Lord on November 9, 2008.
Herman was born on October 25, 1937 in Plattsburgh, New York. He was raised in a foster home in the town of Mooers, New York. He had two brothers Burton and Frank Bessinger. He served for a short time in the U.S. Navy.
After he left the Navy, he moved to Salinas, and on February 12, 1961, he married his wife of 47 years, Isabel Rodriguez. Together they were foster parents for several children.
Herman worked at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California from May 1961 to January 1979.
He gave his life to the Lord on August 17, 1974, and was a member of the Apostolic Assembly. He was ordained to the ministry in 1978, and served in mnay capacities over the years including Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and evangelist. Herman was a kind and generous man who will be remembered by many as a loving husband, uncle, and friend.

sister-in-laws
Cecilia Amaya of Atwater and Carolina Rodriguez of Sanger
