Obituary of Mary Stark

Mary Ellen Stark, 86, was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on October 1, 1922 and died peacefully at home on December 1, 2008, after a long courageous battle with COPD. She was a loving and devoted homemaker, always loving and caring for her family. She married Keith D. Stark on December 7, 1946. Their marriage life was six days short of 62 years. Being devoted to each other, where you saw one, you would see the other. Mary was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church of Salinas. She survived by her husband, Keith of the family home, loving daughter, Virginia “Ginny” of Pacific Grove, Grandson, Ben Eadington and his wife, Kira and son, Ethan. Also surviving are three other Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Stark-Gray. Mary Ellen’s cremated remains will be interred in El Carmelo Cemetery in Pacific Grove. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
