Obituary of Salvador Cardoza

Salvador "Chava" Cardoza, 62, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on January 5, 2012 in Salinas. He was born in Mexicali, B.C. on August 18, 1949. He previously worked in agriculture as a bus driver for over 25 years. He is survived by his companion, Zeferina Gama of Salinas mother, Primitiva Cardoza of Hollister children, Salvador, Jr. of San Diego Saria of Imperial Sonia of Indio step-daughters, Maribel, Ana, and Mirna all of Salinas step-sons, Juan and Aldo of Salinas sisters, Guadalupe of Hollister Juanita of Mexicali, B.C. brothers, Jesus and Encarnacion of Merced Manuel of Indio grandchildren, Sterling Cardoza of El Centro Carlos, Saria Airam Solis of Imperial Brian, Joseph and Giovanna Flores of Indio He is preceded in death by his father, Donato Cardoza and brother, Francisco "Pancho" Cardoza in 2011 Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 1-9pm with a Rosary Recital at 7pm all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 10am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church 240 Calle Cebu Salinas, CA 93901. Cremation to follow services.
