Obituary of James Pacheco

James "Jimmy" Allen Pacheco, 60, native and lifelong resident of Salinas, passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2012 at his home. He was born on October 7, 1951. Jimmy proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of the American Legion Post #31 of Salinas, the Elks Club of Salinas and of the Native Sons of Salinas. He volunteered for many years at the Salinas Rodeo. His interests included camping, Barbequeing and attending car shows. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Patty Pacheco of Salinas his parents, Edward and Betty Rose Pacheco of Salinas son, Tommy (Staci) Pierce of Salinas daughters, Wendy (Patrick) Gage of Salinas Candace (Bruce) Frazure of Hollister six grandchildren two great-grandchildren along with other loving relatives. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 1-9pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. A Celebration of Jimmy's Life will take place on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 1-5pm at the Crown Royal Saloon located at the Salinas Rodeo Grounds 1034 N. Main St. Salinas, CA 93906.
