Obituary of Luis Gomes

Luis was a man who enjoyed fine cars, fine wines and food, but most all - life. What Luis truly valued, though, was his family; devoted wife, children and grandchildren. Luis loved to tell stories. He had never-ending jokes and always negotiated for the best deals. He was a selfless man, who was always willing to sacrifice his own needs for the betterment of others. He touched many lives, in many ways, and will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by wife of 39 years Charlene Gomes of the family home daughter Madalena and Jason Miller of Auburn, WA son John Gomes of Salinas granddaughter Cassie Marie Gomes brother Jerry and Kaye Gomes of Sandy, OR sisters Lena and Germano Reis of Topo, Azores, Portugal Teresa and Joao Goulart of Sao Roque, Pico, Azores, Portugal along with numerous nieces and nephews preceded in death by parents Germano and Madalena Gomes brothers Antonio & John Gomes sister Maria Goulart Gomes
