Obituary of Renato Guanlao Sarmiento

Renato Guanlao Sarmiento passed away on August 5, 2019 in Palo Alto, Ca.  He was born on July 26, 1958 to Nicolas and Luciana Sarmiento in the Philippines.

Known by his family as Rene, he was very proud of his career in the Army as a Tanker.  He is preceded in death by his father, Nicolas.  Rene is survived by his mother, Luciana, his sister and brothers, nieces and nephews and many other extended family and friends.  

To our beloved son, brother, and uncle, May your soul Rest In Peace and be free from all sufferings you endured. We will miss you dearly and will never forget all the love you have brought us. Thank you for all that you have done for the SarmyArmy, family, and friends. You will always and forever be in in our hearts. Love you Rene.

A visitation will take place at Healey Mortuary Chapel on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 1pm until 9pm with a Rosary Service at 6pm.  A Funeral Mass will be Monday, August 12, 2019 at 10 am at Madonna Del Sasso Church followed by a burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery with Military Honors.
