Obituary of Felicitas Gardea

Felicitas Gardea passed away on August 3rd, 2019 at the age of 95.  She was born in Santa Barbara, Mexico to Pedro Pillado and Luisa Serrano on October 21, 1923.  Felicitas has been a resident of Salinas for the past 53 years.  She worked as a greenhouse worker for 20 years.  

Felicitas is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Gardea and her son, Martin Gardea.  She is survived by her sons, Jesus (Lia) Gardea, Roberto (Lilia) Gardea, Oscar (Ruby) Gardea, and Jacinto (Mercedes) Gardea, as well as her sister, Paula Pillado and 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held for Felicitas on Monday August 12th from 1-9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Healey Mortuary Chapel.  A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, August 13th at Madonna Del Sasso Church at 10am followed by burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
