Obituary of Maria Estella Maldonado

Maria Estella Maldonado passed away on June 18, 2023 at the age of 71.  She was born in Mexico on August 15, 1951 to Jesus Munoz and Maria Rodriguez.  Maria was always smiling and had a very funny sense of humor.  She enjoyed playing Bingo and visiting the Casino.  She loved flowers of all kinds and frequently wore them in her hair as she took great pleasure in dressing to the nines and having her hair and makeup done.  Maria always enjoyed a good fast food meal, but most importantly she loved spending time with family.  She was the life of the party and definately lived her life to the fullest.  

Maria was preceded in death by her children, Rebecca Soto and Pete Alviar which she never fully recovered from.  She is survived by her siblings, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Pablo Munoz, Rene Munoz, Ramiro Munoz, Carlos Munoz, Yolanda Olivares, and Carmen Pacheco.  She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

A visitation will take place for Maria on Wednesday, June 21st from 1-6pm with a Rosary Prayer Service at 5pm at Healey Mortuary.  Her Funeral Service will be on Thursday, June 22nd at 10 am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1071 Pajaro St. in Salinas with cremation to follow.
