Obituary of Rosalina C. Perijil

September 29, 2023, Rosalina C Perijil passed away peacefully in her home with her family lovingly by her side. Born on February 25, 1949 to Antonio and Regina Chua. Rosalina lived an amazing life in Tuguegarao, Philippines with her four siblings along with her step siblings and many cousins, aunts and uncles nearby. 

Rosalina attended St. Paul University where she finished her Bachelors of Science in Education from 1967 to 1970. Rosalina met her future husband, Juanito Perijil working as a secretary in Camalaniugan, Philippines. Rosalina came to America in 1977. She worked with various employers and spent her leisure time traveling with her sister and mother. She later returned to marry Juanito and then returned back to America. She returned again to the Philippines where she was able to bring her husband when she returned back to America. In 1979, they had their first child, Jacqueline Perijil. Seven years later, they had their second child, Jeffrey Perijil. 

Rosalina worked at Thor Electronics for ten years. She worked along side her husband as a soldering, cable assembler. A year later, Rosalina worked for Integrated Device Technology for thirteen years as a Fabrication Operator. She had stopped working for IDT due to the company shutting down and relocating. After a couple of years, she returned back to work as a part time teacher’s aide. She enjoyed being in the classroom and tremendously loved being around the children. She was able to work at Salinas Christian Elementary School for eleven yrs until her health took a turn. 

Rosalina is survived by her two children, Jacqueline Perijil, Jeffrey Perijil. Her granddaughter Justine Pedrano. And her husband Juanito Perijil. Rosalina is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and two sisters. 

Rosalina was a beautiful person inside and out with a huge heart. She was always thinking of others and cared so deeply for the people around her. She was a very independent and strong willed person. She loved to travel, gardening, baking and spending time with her family. She was a very religious person and found comfort and peace being involved in her prayer group. She will be forever missed.
