Obituary of Michael R. Shuttleworth

Michael Richard Shuttleworth passed away on October 28, 2023 at the age of 80.  Michael was born on August 8, 1943 to Richard Shuttleworth and Jacquiline Hamilton Shuttleworth.  Michael was a Retired Major from the United State Marine Corps.  He loved sports of all kinds and coached many of them in the Marines.  His preferred sport after retirement was golf.  He would golf several times a week with his buddies.  

Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Mary, in 1999.  He was also preceded by his parents, and his brother, Larry.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Jessica); his daughter, Michelle; 3 grandchildren, Cynthia, Lynn and Haley; and his sister, Sharon.

A funeral service will take place for Michael on Wed. November 15th at 1pm at Healey Mortuary Chapel.  His burial with Military Honors will take place on Thursday, November 16th at 11am at California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery in Seaside, Ca.
