Obituary of Rafael Ponce Hernandez

Our father Rafael Ponce left this world on December 28, 2023 at the age of 66. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. He was born on September 8, 1957 in Salvatierra, Guanajuato, Mexico. He came to California at the age of 17 where he worked as a farm worker before working as a grounds keeper for several companies for over 30 years.

He loved going on roadtrips, barbecuing and spending time with his family. He was known for being a hard worker, a mentor, his big heart and his smile.

Rafael is survived by his wife, Maria Ponce, and his children, Lizzette Ponce, Brian Ponce, and Cesar Ponce.  His services will take place at Holy Trinity Church, 27 S El Camino Real, Greenfield, Ca 93927 on Friday, January 12th with a Viewing at 9am, Rosary at 9:30am, Mass at 10am and Burial to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
